Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Executive Director of Boulder Crest Retreat Arizona is responsible to the Board of Directors and specifically the Chair of the Board for the overall management of the retreat facility including service delivery, planning and execution, customer care, personnel management and fundraising that ensures annual budget (approximately $2.5 million,) is executable while ensuring compliance with board directives and applicable grantor, federal, and state requirements.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for taking care of the employees of Boulder Crest Retreat Foundation. Performance management, reward and recognition, recruiting and retention, discipline, hiring and firing actions. Takes care of customers, vendors and other nonprofit service providers. Handles concerns and complaints.
Responsible for monthly review of program performance and reporting progress to Chair of the Board of Directors. Responsible for maintaining up to date electronic and paper files of all program documentation.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The Executive Director will have an education and professional background commensurate with this important leadership position. The Executive Director will typically be degreed at the Bachelors level or equivalent, Masters preferred. A leader in this position will also have 10-15 years (plus) experience leading not for profit or for-profit programs, dealing with veteran issues and an understanding of hospitality management
