Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Assigns job duties for clerical staff; maintains office files; performs administrative tasks for Board Members; develops proposals on potential funding sources; manage and cultivate existing relationships with funders; oversee the organization of special fundraising events; oversee donor and volunteer database management system; ensure foundation is compliant with IRS and state tax obligations; and meet regularly with Board Members, give updates on foundation projects.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Knowledge in office management, verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, time management skills with ability to meet deadlines; strong leadership skills; work with minimal direction; self-starter with the ability to think strategically, tactically, and creatively; excellent communicator; ability to build and maintain relationships; knowledge of the funding community; and proficient with social media outlets.
