Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide litigation support to attorneys providing legal assistance & representation to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking & other crimes. The project work will focus on human trafficking through NMLA’s medical legal partnership with First Nations Health Center. In addition, a significant portion of the work will be assisting attorneys who represent clients in court to provide litigation support.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Albuquerque office handles a wide range of creative, challenging & complex work. We are looking for highly motivated candidates who are passionate about justice & strongly committed to helping NMLA better serve our client communities, including development of effective team strategies to handle complex advocacy & extended representation cases.

Other Information/Requirements: 

3 years’ experience preferred. Will consider exceptionally well-qualified entry-level candidates. Effectively use computer technology, remote communications systems, shared online workspaces, web meeting & videoconferencing software, effectively collaborate with staff in multiple offices. Must possess excellent written/oral communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks & build collaborative relationships within the staff & community served by NMLA. Proficiency in Spanish a plus.
