Main Areas of Responsibility: 

United Way of Santa Fe County’s (UWSFC) policy work is coordinated via the New Mexico Early Childhood Development Partnership (NMECDP), which researches, develops and advocates for early childhood care and education policy and investment. An ideal candidate has a strong interest in the NMECDP’s core principles, works independently and as part of a team, and demonstrates initiative and professionalism.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

 Assist in the completion of grant deliverables
 Engage in policy analysis
 Coordinate all communications tasks for NMECDP
 Assist in Grant Writing and Reporting
 Represent NMECDP
 Develop and Foster Partnerships

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requires three years’ experience working in a public policy environment; BA required; MA preferred; public policy or administration concentration preferred. Excellent oral and written skills, exhibits diplomacy and good judgment, works well in culturally diverse settings, has knowledge of local population served, and strong computer skills.
