Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under the direct supervision of the Regional Director, the Outreach Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive case management services, to include job and career counseling/development, to eligible qualified Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title 1 individuals that meet eligibility under the U.S. Department of Labor’s National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP).

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Outreach Coordinators are responsible for outreach activities and to identify and recruit eligible participants and meet enrollment, placement and other common measures dictated by the Department of Labor National Farmworker Jobs Program contract. Services include assessment, counseling, career development, training referrals, support services, job referral, job placement, and business/employer development activities.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Associate’s Degree from an accredited two-year junior college in Accounting or Business Administration and four (4) years of progressive experience in all aspects of either employment and/or training programs, social services and/or with the low income population. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling Six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
