Museum Educator

Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The part-time/seasonal museum educator will be a member of the education team responsible for developing, updating, and delivering winter, spring, holiday, and summer camp programs; participate in school development programs at the museum; and be involved in community outreach efforts, including, but not limited to, annual museum events and afterschool programs.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The museum educator will work closely with the Director of Education, Museum Educator, and many student and adult volunteers. The part-time/seasonal museum educator will work approximately 20 hours/week.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Ability to work in an organic team-oriented and fast-paced environment; excellent communication and presentation skills; experience working with children, especially ages 6-12; experience working in museums, camps, and informal science education is preferred; and flexible schedule, both daily and weekly.
