Main Areas of Responsibility: 

SAFE House is looking for a child therapist to join out team. The Mental Health Therapist will provide professional counseling for children, up to age 17 that are affected by violence in the home. Experienced in the field of domestic violence.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide age appropriate therapeutic services to children on shelter.
Conduct, in coordination with adult survivor therapist, parenting groups to further strengthen the parent/child bond.
Work in emergency shelter setting.
Work with diverse group of clients.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum Master's Degree in counseling or social work. Licensed in the state of New Mexico as LMHC, LMSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW. At least one year of outpatient service delivery is preferred.
