Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Reporting to Manager, Medical Coding, responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of medical coding staff. Prepares and analyzes reports to monitor and improve efficiency, accuracy and work load allocation of medical coding staff. Works closely with Manager and Director to help identify areas for medical coding operational improvement.

Other Information/Requirements: 

High school diploma or GED with 3 years of medical coding experience. One year experience in a Lead or Supervisory role preferred. Certification in at least one of the following: CPC, CPC-P, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT. Verification of education and licensure will be required if selected for hire.
