Marketing Intern

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Assisting Adelante's marketing team with writing, taking photos, setting up booths, and hosting events which raise awareness about our mission and programs.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

As an intern you may be helping to write press releases, sent to various locations to take photos of people with disabilities or seniors taking part in the community, etc. You will also be shopping for meeting and event items so travel is required. Mileage is reimbursed.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This is an entry level paid position, 15-20 hours a week at our main location (3900 Osuna). It's designed to offer experience to college level students hoping to learn more about nonprofit and B2B marketing. Course credit may also be possible. No experience is necessary, but course work in marketing, business, and/or communications is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is great, too.
