Marketing and Communications Specialist - Events

Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position is responsible for planning and organizing all events. The Marketing and Communications Specialist works closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager in developing an annual Marketing Calendar and understanding identified target audiences.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

1. Demonstrated knowledge of virtual event planning and execution.
2. Graphic Design experience.
3. Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop preferred.
4. Proficiency in Constituent Resource Management systems.
5. Proficiency in highly Venngage or Canva preferred.

Other Information/Requirements: 

1. Bachelor’s degree, OR
2. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in event planning and marketing, development, community engagement, donor development/relations, or similar field.
