Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Alta Mira Specialized Family Services, Inc. seeks an energetic, passionate person to raise funds for and increase awareness of people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with developing and implementing a marketing strategy, familiarity in the use of all social media platforms, experience in fundraising and brand awareness marketing, a proven track record for producing results, and a commitment to our mission.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Demonstrated ability to develop excellent relations with the media and community leaders
Proven success in writing grant proposals to secure organizational funding
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with or knowledge of social media
Ability to position communication discussions at both strategic and tactical levels
Highly collaborative style
Proven ability to achieve tangible outcomes

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred in Public Relations, Communication; or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
