Managing Attorney in Santa Fe

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

NMLA is seeking a Managing Attorney for its Santa Fe, Taos and Las Vegas offices. The position, based in Santa Fe, will help lead NMLA’s advocacy efforts throughout north central and northeastern New Mexico.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Supervise and mentor attorneys, paralegals and other staff and volunteers; handle administrative duties; and handle cases as sole counsel or co-counsel for low-income individuals and families in a wide variety of poverty law areas including family law, housing, public benefits, and consumer issues.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum three years as licensed attorney; prior experience in administrative and supervisory roles preferred. Must be willing to travel. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
