Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for the creation and management of a strategic, well-coordinated and compelling fundraising and stewardship program with the goal of increasing major donor engagement, retention, and support for United Way of Santa Fe County. This position creates and oversees strategies to sustain donor loyalty, increase donor investment and distinguish United Way of Santa Fe County from other not-for-profit organizations.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree required. Minimum five years' experience in donor development and stewardship programs. Individual major donor relationship experience is required. Demonstrated expertise working with major donors, planned giving, and donor related databases.
