Main Areas of Responsibility:
All donor cultivation activities, including prospect generation, setting appointments and closing the solicitation. Under the supervision of the CAO, responsibilities include but are not limited to actively identifying donors in the community, assessing donor potential, driving successful solicitations and ensuring high levels of donor satisfaction. Must maintain knowledge about the services and be able to cross sell gift options based on donor preferences.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Associate degree in marketing or related field required, or a minimum of three years of proven experience as fundraiser/sales professional or any satisfactory combination, which demonstrates the knowledge skills and ability to perform job duties; BA degree in marketing or related field preferred; understanding of fundraising principles and donor solicitation practices.
