Major Donor Representative

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Two full-time positions available for Major Donor Representative responsible for developing, cultivating, and managing donors and prospective donors (individuals, foundations, businesses, and churches); securing funds from donors and prospective donors; retaining and upgrading donor giving and engagement with ministry’s vision and mission; listening to, praying with, and encouraging donors.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Communicate with donors about the ministry.
• Develop cultivation strategies and maintain relationships with donors.
• Create offers & proposals, as well as coordinate visits to donors.
• Achieve annual fundraising goals: First year: $250,000; Second year: $500,000; Third year: $750,000; and Fourth year and thereafter: $1 million.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or proven experience in a non-profit Christian environment in major fundraising capable of five- and six-figure gifts
• Knowledge of fundraising principles
• Communication, problem-solving, research, and analytical skills
• Able to work nights and weekends occasionally and travel 30-50% of the time to visit donors and representing the ministry
