Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Los Alamos County Child and Families Program Assistant Coordinator assists with planning, facilitating, and promoting family support groups and events. Maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our Los Alamos office and outdoor activity areas. Coordinates office supplies, maintenance, and communication with facility partners. Develops positive relationships with local partners. Coordinate social media outreach and public announcements.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Track and submit program reports, coordinate with team members on documentation. Provide referrals and support wraparound care for families. Represent Las Cumbres at community events and collaborate on outreach efforts.
Participate in team meetings and trainings. Support program development and special projects as assigned.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Early Childhood, or related field preferred (relevant experience considered). Two or more years of direct experience with children, families, or community programming.
Understanding of the Los Alamos community and its resources. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current insurance. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
