Loan Officer I

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Loan Officer I serves as Accion ambassadors in the community, develop and a pipeline of new loan applicants, structure and close loans and care for current clients, leading clients through all stages of the lending process; develop referral relationships with community partners and perform educational outreach.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Loan Officer I (LO I) focuses on business development outreach, visiting businesses on a regular basis to build relationships and to understand/serve credit needs. The LO I must have a passion for helping people, be skilled at building relationships, have excellent administrative skills for closing loans and provide outstanding customer service. In-state travel required

Other Information/Requirements: 

The LO I provides warm, exceptional customer service, seeks excellence in all they do and demonstrates a high degree of integrity and professionalism; natural leaders who are accountable, reliable, with outstanding problem-solving skills, goal/results-oriented, well-organized and strong communicators. English/Spanish fluency preferred; one to three years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree are required.
