Life Skills Academy Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Work with community instructors and organizations to schedule classes, provide support and collect data
Cultivate new relationships with potential instructors and employment/internship opportunities
Ensure there are diverse class and course offerings each month that include topics from all of the life skills focus areas and specifically building strong cultural identity

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Work with New Day Leadership to further develop the full model and system support for the Life Skills Academy
• Create marketing materials and engage in community activities to promote the Life Skills Academy

Other Information/Requirements: 

Master’s Degree and 1-3 years of experience, Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of experience, or an Associate’s Degree/some college with 6-8 years of experience. Required relevant experience: working with system involved youth; providing and developing training for diverse audiences; and program development.
