Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Life Skills Academy (LSA) is designed for young people between the ages of 16-24 and is intended to connect youth to the community and to themselves in a meaningful way. The purpose of this position is to provide overall leadership by supporting, growing, and further developing the program.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Hiring, training, and handle discipline issues.
Build and maintain relationships with community social service providers, juvenile justice entities, local businesses, collaborative partners, and community based instructors.
Coordinate and implement all LSA activities; instructor support and recruitment, class scheduling, and youth outreach.
Develop policies, procedures, and other support documentation for LSA.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Education, or related field
Supervisory experience 3-5 years preferred
Experience working with youth that have experienced homelessness, trauma, and/or system involvement.
Experience in coalition building and program development
