Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide professional nursing services to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a community setting as part of an interdisciplinary team and in accordance with NM Standards and Regulation.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Manage a complex caseload
Possess knowledge of long term health care needs as well as acute medical conditions
Ability to teach identified health information to individuals, and direct support staff
Ability to generate required nursing documentation, sound nursing judgment, function as an advocate, understand, and support community based care

Other Information/Requirements: 

-Licensed Practical Nurse, licensed in New Mexico.
-Two (2) years’ experience in community and home health preferred.
