Main Areas of Responsibility:
Reporting to the Chair of the Board of Directors (BOD) , the Director is responsible for all aspects of library operations and functions, including leading and supervising volunteers and staff; developing and managing the annual library budget; managing programs and services in accordance with PCL strategic goals; proposing new library projects, services and policies; providing leadership for continuous improvement of services to the community; and, managing communications with the community.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Additional areas of responsibility include Board relations, planning, finance, human relations, public and patron relations, and physical facilities.
