Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Join a dynamic team of individuals committed to transforming the lives of veterans and shelter dogs. The Kennel Worker will be responsible for walking and feeding dogs, cleaning kennels, and dog enrichment and play. Paws and Stripes uses force free, non-aversive methods in dog handling.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Kennel Worker will be expected to reinforce basic skills with the dogs and assist with acquiring dogs and with the adoption process. Will also be responsible for coordinating kennel volunteers.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must be good with dogs.
Comfortable working with 50+ pound, 2-4 year-old dogs.
Experience working with shelters or kennels preferred, but training provided.
Background check required for hire.
Experience supervising others or working with volunteers helpful.
