Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Information Technology Assistant (ITA) provides user support for computers, operating systems and software, including installation, configuration, maintenance and end-user support. The ITA implements, tests and debugs operating system software; schedules backup operations and recovery; helps record and maintains software inventories, site and/or server licensing, and user access and security.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The ITA provides software and technical assistance support; installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots a wide range of software; sets up and configures desktop and notebook computers; performs hardware/software upgrades; maintains security-related systems such as VPNs, anti-virus and anti-spam systems; monitors VPNs, server and firewall logs for suspicious activity
