Internal Evaluator - Consultant

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The NB3F national program, Native Strong: Healthy Kids, Healthy Futures is seeking a consultant with experience in designing and operationalizing Internal Evaluation systems. The consultant will provide guidance, support and build the capacity of the Native Strong team in implementing and monitoring evaluation on the core functions of Native Strong (Knowledge Building, Collaboration, Grant Making, Capacity Building).

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Specifically, Native Strong requires a consultant who can:
• Thoroughly review a previously developed evaluation framework, and,
• Generate a specific Action Plan for how to operationalize an internal evaluation framework within the Native Strong Department. The Plan will need to be implemented from February – December 2015.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Master’s required; PhD preferred.
• Minimum of five years experience designing and implementing internal evaluation systems
• Experience in designing and implementing internal evaluation systems that demonstrate culturally appropriate methods. Experience in Indian Country a plus.
• A minimum of three years of consulting experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
