Intern Communications and Marketing

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Intern will work closely with the Executive Director to advance communications and outreach to a variety of constituencies through social media, web and other communications tools that highlight various programs at GAFNM. This includes assisting with marketing GAFNM’s grants programs, awards luncheon, conferences, and other events during the year.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This position is ideal for someone who wishes to understand and hone their nonprofit management leadership skills. The Intern will be able to participate in all aspects of nonprofit management including attending board meetings, reviewing fiscal documents and procedures, attending strategic planning and program development meetings, and will have access to conversations with community leaders.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This internship will provide a stipend of no more than $1,120 per semester with the expectation of working 8 hours per week for 14 weeks. The hours are very flexible and can be negotiated to accommodate school and other outside commitments.
