Main Areas of Responsibility:
Our Infant and Toddler CASA Coordinator will provide professional staff support to CASAs. The Infant and Toddler
CASA Coordinator’s main responsibility is to increase and share knowledge of the unique needs of infants and toddlers in the child welfare system and to improve outcomes for these children and their families through
evidence-informed best practices and coordinated advocacy, services, and supports.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Educate and train CASA volunteers and partners/collaborators in the unique needs of infants/toddlers in
the child welfare system. Ensure development of early intervention Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) as needed for infant/toddler foster children. Ensure infants/toddlers in foster care receive all EPSDT(early, periodic,screening,diagnostic,treatment) and IDEA (screening services they are eligible. Implementation of Child find screening and IDEA for infants/toddlers in foster care.
