INCENTIVE$ Outreach Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The New Mexico Association for the Education of Young Children, located in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking an INCENTIVE$ Outreach Director for its INCENTIVE$ Early Childhood NEW MEXICO pay supplements program.

The position is Full-time. Salary range: $30,000-$36,000 per year, with benefits.
Bilingual skills are desired (English/Spanish or English/Native American language).
Preference will be given to applications received before May 15, 2015.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The INCENTIVE$ Outreach Director will help manage the pay supplements program and will have responsibilities in: reviewing applications, following the policies established by the program and by Child Care WAGE$® in Chapel Hill, N.C., tracking and reviewing participants’ employment, publicizing the availability of supplements to early childhood educators, being familiar with the INCENTIVE$ database, and double-checking INCENTIVE$ work performed by the INCENTIVE$ Project Director.

Other Information/Requirements: 

A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related Human Services field is preferred, as well as at least two years of experience with early childhood programs. Experience in a role-related field will be considered. Current and former T.E.A.C.H. scholars are encouraged to apply.
