Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources plans and programs are realized.
Creating and revising job descriptions
• Conducting annual salary surveys
• Answering employee questions, handling grievances, coordinating employee pay advances and unemployment claims
• Serving as point of contact with benefit vendors/administrators
• Developing, analyzing and updating the evaluation program
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Maintaining and revising the handbook on policies and procedures
• Performing benefits administration
• Maintaining affirmative action programs
• Overseeing recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads
• Scheduling job interviews and conducting/participating in interviews
• Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
• Overseeing exit interviews
• Participating in administrative staff meetings
• Full knowledge of EEO laws
