Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Advocate for and coordinate housing placement for shelter residents
• Create a Housing Sustainability Plan with each resident including budgeting, life skills training and securing entitlements
• Provide information and referrals to community resources
• Maintain case records
• Coordinate discharge process
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary
• Conduct intakes and coordinated entry assessments
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Excellent computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to relate to women and children experiencing homelessness
• First Aid and CPR certifications
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive company vehicle
• Knowledge of community resources
• Previous housing management/case management experience desired
