Main Areas of Responsibility:
Administer housing vouchers utilizing supportive housing best practices.
Conduct orientation for new applicants
Assist applicants with housing search
Conduct Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspection
Oversee move-in and lease signing
Conduct Annual HQS and Certification
Maintain client files
Data entry
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
HQS certification
Professional Occupancy Certification 4350.3 or relevant experience
Knowledge of the Fair Housing Act, the New Mexico Human Rights Act and the Uniform Owner-Resident Relations Act
Experience and ability to work with persons who have special needs, in particular those with a behavioral health diagnosis and who are experiencing homelessness
Knowledge of community resources related to housing and support services
Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
