Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Conduct participant screenings and intakes
• Assist with housing searches, screening landlords, application process, inspections
• Negotiate leases
• Create Housing Sustainability Plans for participants including: budgeting, life skills training, applying for entitlements
• Monitor client progress
• Provide crisis intervention if needed
• Provide referrals to community resources
• Provide notice of program completion to landlord/program participant
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Excellent computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to relate to individuals and families experiencing homelessness
• First Aid and CPR certifications
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Knowledge of community resources
• Previous housing management/case management experience desired
