Housing Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Housing Director for non-profit. This position will oversee all housing programs of homeless/near homeless housing for our non-profit agency. Responsible for housing funds (motel vouchers, leases, shelter plus care, supportive housing, Rental Assistance Program, Displaced Tenant Relocation Program). Supervision of 2 full time and 1 part-time staff.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Duties include but are not limited to: acting as liaison between clients and case workers/program managers/directors; maintain and produce all HUD/MFA/City/State/CoC requirements/reports; Work in conjunction with CFO on related grants; oversee intake of clients; oversight of audit processes; Act as Bernalillo County Local Lead Agency Coordinator for state program.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requirements:
Minimum BA/BS in human service related field
Extensive knowledge of NM housing, HUD requirements, CoC grants
Demonstrated ability to supervise, direct and lead staff
Strong organizational, team building skills
Demonstrated ability to speak in public
At least 1 year experience with SMI/homeless adult population
Property management and maintenance experience a plus
