Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Housing Coordinator builds positive, authentic relationships with youth ages 18 to 25 who are entering housing from homelessness and have a diagnosed disability. The Housing Coordinator works with a caseload of up to 12 youth to support them in maintaining housing as they build skills for independent living.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Assist new program youth in obtaining rental housing in accordance with program requirements.
Offer youth side-by-side support in gaining skills to meet their own needs and building responsibility over time.
Demonstrate adaptability and proactivity in response to shifting priorities and crises.
Complete detailed, timely, and correct documentation per program and grant requirements.
Attend department meetings and required trainings as needed.
Provide crisis intervention as necessary.
