Housing Case Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This is a full-time position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to screening potential participants, supporting participants in locating an apartment, inspecting apartments, negotiating leases according to grant guidelines and agency procedure, creating and maintaining an Exit Plan that is focused on housing stability, monitoring participant progress through home visits, providing information and referrals, documenting contact, maintaining records, etc.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Attend in house trainings as scheduled.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Successful candidates will be able to relate to women and children experiencing homelessness, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, have knowledge of community resources, and have the flexibility to conduct home visits evenings or Saturdays, at times, as needed. Bachelor's degree in related field required or 5 years of relevant experience required.
