Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position is responsible for all aspects of managing the lessons at Loving Thunder Therapeutic Riding. Includes teaching of students, volunteer assignment management during lessons, ensure safety of all riders, volunteers, and equines. Maintain records of rider progress and attendance.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Perfect candidate will have creative lesson plans, be consistent in praise and correction, professional with all riders, families, volunteers, and staff, be a team player and promote LTTR.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must have excellent horsemanship and teaching skills. PATH, Intl Certified Riding Instructor preferred, or be willing to attain certification within one year of employment. Must have good people management skills. Requires parental interaction to determine the goals of special needs riders. Working knowledge of computer-based programs and rider progress recording.
