Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Project Coordinator provides administrative support and project management for Healthy Neighborhoods Albuquerque and its initiatives. The contract position has a primary focus on project coordination, communication and organizing for the ongoing meetings and projects for the group. The Project Coordinator supports the collaborative by monitoring project progress; assisting leadership and Anchor Partner staff members with ongoing organizational requirements.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Participate in all Healthy Neighborhoods Albuquerque (HNA) activities; manage HNA meetings, scheduling, agendas, and minutes; support Anchor Partner relationships through regular outreach and communications; develop and facilitate the implementation of project plans constructed with Anchor Partner representatives; and develop a communications plan to share updates, news and other information with key stakeholders, general public, and potential national organizations doing Anchor Collaborative work.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Healthy Neighborhoods Albuquerque is a collaborative of seven anchor institutions: government, education, healthcare and philanthropy partners united to support community health. An Executive Advisory Committee with anchor representatives, anchor sets the vision and agenda for the organization. Work groups carry out mission-related initiatives: Buy Local and Hire Local. These work groups include anchor partners as well as other community partners with interest and/or expertise in supporting our initiatives.
