Main Areas of Responsibility:
To support all training activities in a timely, efficient, and collaborative manner. This includes organizing ongoing training activities; updating and developing new training materials as needed; delivering training and technical assistance for implementation, and supporting efforts related to CHW certification in New Mexico. Over time, the Specialist will provide support to train lead trainers, and may support future training activities in Rosebud, SD.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Coordinate all training activities related to COPE (50%).
Organize and improve the COPE training program to offer training services to a variety of constituents (40%). Assist in the coordination of recruitment and on-boarding of short-term COPE staff, e.g. doctors, medical students, summer interns and other volunteers involved with training activities (5%). Perform other duties as required (5%)
