Internship
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

1). Promote and raise awareness of the mission and need for AHCH services via social media and through community events.
2). Work on values-based volunteer recruitment. Recruit and cultivate volunteers with a commitment to ending homelessness.
3). Assist in the re-launch and implementation of the Youth and Philanthropy Council comprised of 5-10 local high-school youth.

Other Information/Requirements: 

AHCH is inspired to engage a VISTA Member who is passionate about social justice. The VISTA Member will be a part of AHCH’s high-volume and fast-paced Fund Development Team, which believes that fundraising and resource mobilization is about reclaiming the collective power necessary to sustain the work needed to end homelessness. Volunteers from diverse backgrounds and bilingual English/Spanish preferred. This is a volunteer position with a monthly living stipend of $973 per month.
