Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Health and Wellness Coordinator will serve as the lead staff member on health and wellness programming provided by OASIS to a wide variety of older adult audiences. This individual ensures OASIS implements quality health education programs. The coordinator will have responsibility for developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating all health and wellness programs. A key component is planning and implementing the OASIS Institute’s national curriculum – Exerstart and Free From Falls.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Works with Programming Coordinator and Executive Director to identify and schedule health and wellness lectures.
Monitors all health classes-including set up of room, evaluations, etc.
Participate in marketing activities to increase enrollment in health programs.
Develops partnerships and collaborations with other community organization.
Work as a team with OASIS staff to fulfill the OASIS mission, including class hosting, registration, etc. as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
