Guestroom Attendant - Housekeeping Trainer - Instructor

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Lutheran Family Services Refugee and Asylee Programs (LFS) is seeking an instructor for our Housekeeping Training Course. The instructor/trainer will be working closely with the employment services team to instruct, train, and assess students, methods of instruction, and program design.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

1. Work and communicate directly with the employment staff on a regular basis.
2. Instruct a Guestroom Attendant housekeeping course based on curriculum from American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute.
3. Assess students in the course.
4. Provide feedback on course materials, design, and implementation.
5. Archive material that is developed.

Other Information/Requirements: 

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality industry preferred.
2. Cross-cultural sensitivity with ability and desire to work and communicate with people of other cultures.
3. Familiarity of fluency in one or more foreign languages preferred (not required).
4. Computer skills
5. Demonstrates commitment to the mission, values & vision of Lutheran Family Services

Work hours are flexible, based on arranged course schedule; Each course is 50 hours
Compensation: $20-25/hour DOE
