Graphic Designer for Exhibits History Museum

Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Collaborate with researcher and designated exhibit committee member(s) supervising project to create visuals and appropriate text for new exhibits. Provide specs for the graphic designs to the printer, supervise all aspects of printing and install final product. Attend exhibit committee meetings once a month and meet with specific individuals to plan and execute exhibits.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Create posters and pop-up exhibits for traveling shows; help to create brochures and other materials that are part of the exhibits.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must have experience in graphic design; museum exhibit design preferable; education must include graphic design coursework.
