Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

•Min. 2 yrs experience in nonprofit development
•Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, & evaluate development efforts
•Proven organizational & problem-solving skills
•Ability to manage time & multitask effectively
•High-level of interpersonal skills
•Strong writing, grammar & spelling skills
•Team player w/ conflict resolution & team building skills
•Bachelors Degree req., Masters pref.
•Valid driver’s license & good driving record
•Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PPT & grant databases

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Overnight travel, non-traditional work hours, inclusive of weekend & evening hours, occasional stress from grant deadlines. To perform essential functions, Grants Coordinator is required to sit, stand, walk, speak & hear. S/he must be able to operate office equipment & reach with hands & arms. Other Information/Requirements: 

•Research & analyze grant-making organizations to identify funding sources, including funds for the Grants Coordinator’s salary
•Coordinate, compile, write, & edit all grant proposals, budgets & applications
•Maintain proactive contact w/ grant-making organizations during a grant’s review
•Manage submission of progress reports when required
•Establish program evaluation & quarterly reporting measures
•Attend Team trainings to present on topics (e.g. prospect research & proposal writing)
