Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and other grant-making organizations, and for persuasively communicating Explora’s mission and programs to potential funders. Conducts prospect research; assembles and submits grant requests; maintains a calendar of submission, acknowledgement, and reporting deadlines. Establishes and nurtures relationships with foundation, corporate, and individual donors.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Assists the Deputy Director and the Board Development Committee with any development-related or administrative tasks. Plans creative fundraising events and other activities.
