Grant Writer (Consultant)

Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Identify, research, and prepare grant proposals; manage post-award reporting; and maintain a grants pipeline. Work independently while coordinating with leadership to ensure funding strategies align with organizational priorities and deadlines.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Maintain a grant pipeline and submission calendar; prepare funder reports to ensure compliance and stewardship; and provide monthly updates on submissions, pending requests, and upcoming opportunities to keep leadership informed and engaged in funding efforts.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Proven success securing foundation, corporate, or government grants. Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills with a clear, persuasive style. Skilled at managing multiple deadlines and delivering proposals on time. Familiarity with nonprofit budgets and reporting. Knowledge of workforce development, youth services, or education initiatives preferred.

Salary Range:
