Governance & Affiliate Relations Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is seeking a governance and affiliate relations coordinator to assist in the development and coordination of our national affiliate programs. The successful candidate will be a registered technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, an ASRT member in good standing, highly professional, personable, collaborative and service-driven.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Maintain the quality and accuracy of affiliate relations and governance activities for ASRT while interacting with members and non-members who are affiliate leaders and volunteers.
 Develop and maintain affiliate charters, governance processes and provide information and assistance to affiliate leaders on matters of affiliate and governance issues via various communication vehicles.
 May be required to travel occasionally, representing ASRT at professional meetings.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Registered technologist with certification in at least one specialty or discipline by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. 
Member in good standing of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
Associate or bachelor’s degree and knowledge of medical imaging or radiation therapy industry best practices.
Polished communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with volunteers, affiliate leaders and people at all levels of the organization with diplomacy and tact.
