Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under general supervision of the Vice President of Strategy & Equity ("VPSE"), provides overall support to the Vice President of Strategy & Equity in carrying out the Foundation’s work plan; provides support to the team to execute the Philanthropic Advising plan; assists the VPSE and Executive Team in the day-to-day Board and Committee functions; and works closely with staff to create, implement and maintain strategies that ensure donors’ philanthropic objectives are met.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Ensuring the highest level of customer service; database creation and/or maintenance for donor prospects; assisting with donor management activities including meeting preparation; maintaining Philanthropic Advisement materials; assisting with Corporate Partner activities; assisting with Partner in Philanthropy management; assisting with Trustee meetings; scheduling Trustee training, maintain manuals and Trustee Matrix and Committee Matrix; and working with each liaison, assist with all ACF Committees.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree required, some business education preferred; strong preference for at least two years successful involvement with the nonprofit or social profit sectors; must be available to attend Board of Trustee meetings; must be available to attend Foundation donor/prospective donor events and interact positively with attendees; must develop knowledge and expertise in Community Suite software; and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
