Garden Educator

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Lead interpretive tours, field trips, and programs for adults, families, and K–12 students. Present weekend and special event programs, support community outreach, prepare and clean up materials, assist with camps and education programs, and complete additional duties as assigned by the Director of Education and Interpretation.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requires enrollment in or completion of a bachelor’s degree in education, biological or environmental sciences, or related field, plus one year of interpretation or environmental education experience. Experience working with children, public speaking, strong communication, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, basic computer skills, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
