Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Oversees and administers a workforce development and training program field office servingoff-reservation Native American and Alaska Native adults living in New Mexico who are unemployed or underemployed and looking for employment or to enhance their job skills.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Develops, plans, and provides quality program service delivery by coordinating and collaborating with NIYC administration. Provides supervision and training to all Gallup Field office staff. Ensures that field office finances and budget in compliance with federal and NIYC regulations and policies.

Other Information/Requirements: 

A Bachelors’ in Business, Education, Career Development, Human Services, Social Sciences, Psychology, or other related field is preferred. Or an Associates' with significant overall program (5 to 10 years) administrative experience. Should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in employment/career development or placement. 3 or more years prior supervisory experience. Excellent communication skills. Significant experience working with Native American/Alaska Native communities.
