Fundraising and Development Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Day-to-day fundraising and development operations, individual giving with a strong focus on major gifts, special events development and implementation of projects and programs.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

First point of contact for prospective donor and current donor questions, needs, and concerns.
Integrate direct mail and online giving with individual and major giving strategies.
Work with the CEO, colleagues at CARC, INC., and vendors/consultants as appropriate to conceptualize, plan, and manage donor cultivation and stewardship events, including: luncheons, receptions, dinners, presentations, and tours.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree or comparable experience.
4+ years in a fundraising and development specific role.
Computer literate and Microsoft Office proficient.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Website and social media savvy a plus.
Non-profit social services and/or developmental disability background is advantageous.
