Fund Development Specialist/Grant Writer

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Non-profit housing organization seeks experienced individual for fund development. Responsibilities include: Create and implement annual and multi-year funding plans and budget; Develop and manage all solicitation efforts including annual appeals, event planning, major and planned giving, endowed giving; Develop fundraising materials, including letters of inquiry, newsletters and donor-targeted content for online and offline marketing; Research, identify and apply for grant funding.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The successful candidate will have an amazing attitude, a successful track record in special events fundraising as well as grant procurement, excellent written communication skills, knowledge of the community, a flexible schedule and the ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team.

Other Information/Requirements:
